DIGITAL CODE LOCK

Ever wanted to walk into the future and open your house door by entering a code on a keypad rather then whipping out your keys to open the door. Well, now you can. Well - technically you can, but it might not be the best - or most secure - idea ever!
This digital keypad circuit effectively operates as a digital lock. Once the correct code (sequence of keys) is entered onto the keypad, the circuit activates an electronic relay, which can be used to do almost whatever you want! Technically, you could have the relay attached to a solenoid, which could then be used to move a bolt or latch. That would give you your locking door, operated by a keypad lock! Locking the keypad is a simple as pressing a button.
Security is a matter of great concern to all of us in this world. This project is basically kind of a lock which can be employed at any place for security from the other people. A code of 4 numbers can be easily made from this circuit which is assigned while making the project.

The person who knows the code will only be able to unlock the device. As the code is of numbers, it is very difficult for anyone to find out the code.
PLANNING OF WORK
Ø  First of all, basic electronics is been studied and project is been decided.
Ø  After deciding the project. The circuit is studied.
Ø  Then list of components is prepared and each is individually studied.
Ø  After which PCB (printed circuit board) is designed, one for transmitter and the other for receiver hardware circuit.
Ø  Various components of the hardware circuit are soldered on the PCB.
Ø  Electrical connections between each component according to the circuit diagram are made.
Ø  Connections are again checked and power supply is provided to the PCB hardware design to see its working.
Applications of project
Home Security
Ø  Can be used as a code lock for the front door of the home.
Ø  Used as lock for personal money banks and Almirah.
Automobiles:
Ø  It can be used in the automobiles as ignition code.
In briefcases:
Ø  Can be used as lock for the personal briefcases.
